Joy & Chad: Wedding

We hung out with Joy & Chad a few weeks ago at their wedding here in San Diego at the North Chapel at NTC. This is my new favorite spot to shoot in San Diego! Like, I want to shoot a wedding there every weekend! The chapel is SO COOL, beautiful light, open, everything you could want. PLUS, it’s right in the middle of NTC/Liberty Station, so there are so many cool options for fun places to shoot. Joy is such a sweetheart, and was an amazing bride. She was so ready to marry Chad, it was so awesome to…

Bekah & Scott's Guestbook

Bekah & Scott’s wedding is just around the corner, so I thought it would be fun to post up their guest book! I love when couples ask for these things, I think they are such a cool way to have a memory of the guests from a wedding as opposed to those boring guest books that you usually see. This is an 8×8, 20 page KISS guest book. Bekah & Scott opted for the HOT red cover! Check it out:

Guess what I did yesterday?

Well, you don’t have to guess really because here’s some fun pictures our day of sailing from yesterday! It was an AMAZING day for sailing, the wind was perfect, and the temperature couldn’t have been better. The wind was something like 16mph (which is way fast) and we were going about 7 knots the whole day! Yes! A cool action shot This is Jason, and it’s his boat that we were on. “Hi, I’m Jason, your crazy captain! Welcome aboard!” Can you tell how much fun we were having? Josh, looking tall. Which shot do you like better? The blue-saturated…

Mike & Shelly: Engagement

A few weeks ago Erin and I headed up to Laguna Beach to meet up with Mike & Shelly for their engagement session literally days before their wedding! We had a great time with them, and we absolutely adore Mike! He’s such a great dude, and he had us (myself, Erin and Shelly) cracking up the whole time with his randomness! He loves acting out scenarios, so I’d make stuff up and then call “Action!” when it was time for him to get in to character. It was a riot! He’d be just hanging out, and then I’d call action,…

Dustin & Danielle: Wedding

Can I just tell you how much fun this couple is? They are SO FUN! I haven’t blogged their engagement shoot yet, but just wait till you see that because we got some hilarious shots in there! I met these two forever ago, and they were actually the first booking of 2007, since they got married on 7.7.07 (can you see how far behind on blogging I am!!!??). They are both physical therapists, and are the nicest people ever, and so caring, and just plain fun to be around. Dustin loves Danielle, like a lot. Him and I have talked…

Alesha & Lane: Wedding

Alesha and Lane have got to be one of the most genuine couples I’ve ever met. They are seriously so kind and wonderful, they are like a dream to work with! Erin and I were so blessed to get to hang out with them at their wedding, I have the best clients ever! The ceremony was at the Marina Village right on Mission Bay (gorgeous) and the reception was in one of the ballrooms there at Marina Village. There were so many favorites from the day, here’s a few favorites, though: I loved this, every time I look at this…

My Wife!

Cool announcement- my wife, Erin has begun shooting with me! She’s always tried to come to all the weddings with me to just help me out as an assistant, and a few months back she actually started to pick up the camera and has been shooting along side me for a while now. I can’t believe how fast she is picking this stuff up, she’s like, really good! Below is a picture of her just chillin’ at a recent e-session we did. Isn’t she beautiful? There’s nothing hotter than my wife when she’s shooting. I think we can all agree…

Rena & Jesse: Day After

Ok, so I’m going through and I think I’m going to just catch up on random stuff, in kind of a random order. I promised my friend Stacy Cross that I’d give her a shout out when I started posting again, so I thought it was only appropriate that I do so in one of my first posts back. Rena and Jesse were so much fun! I’ve known Rena for a while, and when she asked me to be her wedding photographer I was so amped! But it ended up that I had another wedding booked that day, with an…
