One of the sweetest grooms we've ever gotten to photograph has tattoos all over his body. He was never a bad kind of guy and although he had a rebellious streak as a teen, his tattoos are all symbols of pure love, goodness, and faith. He's the sweetest guy you'll ever meet - seriously, he's SUCH a sweetheart! - but the tattoos and his quiet demeanor make his seem like a bad boy rockstar at first glance. But as soon as Brad smiles, its obvious that this guy is nothing but a fun-loving softie. And now, he can add hand model to his resume...
If you've been reading our blog over the past couple of months, you know that we've built a fabulous relationship with Queensberry, an album company based out of New Zealand that builds beautiful handcrafted albums. A few months ago, Queensberry notified us and let us know that they were working on re-branding their entire image, including their sample albums and website, and asked if they could use some of our images - particularly Ashley and Brad's wedding from earlier this year in Oceanside, CA. They loved his hands, they said. And really, who wouldn't?
So just imagine our excitement to see the brand-spanking new Queenberry website unveiled with tons of new images and sample albums featuring our work (think lots of jumping and wild hand-clapping from yours truly). It is such a huge honor to partner with a company so full of passion and commitment to quality. The folks at Queensberry (Heather, Nigel, and Gino just to name a few) are amazing people and we've enjoyed every minute of working with them. Check out their new website at www.queensberry.com and check out the album gallery to see Meredith and Jeff, Amy and Garett, Ashley and Brad, and Sean and Stephanie all featured!
Side note: The image of Brad's hands is even more special because Brad is in the process of becoming a firefighter/paramedic and has to remove some of his more visible tattoos. We got to see his fingers yesterday and they're already super faded from the removal process. I'm so proud of Brad's career and he's amazing at what he does, but I'm still sad to see the tattoos go!
Hugs,
Erin

johncalvin - Congratulations! As always, I love your work. Regarding Brad, He seems like a class act. Removing his tats to do the work he loves and to help people is a sacrifice not to be taken lightly. Cheers and the best to him!
