Tuesday morning was a good morning. In the days leading up to Tuesday, the wheels that had been steamrolling us through life merged from the express train tracks back to the slow regional line. And if that metaphor didn't make sense to you, all I mean to say is that life feels back to normal again. On Saturday and Sunday, I actually cleaned the house and went to Costco for real life items and even finished the mountain of laundry that had been staring me down for the past few weeks. I've been able to wake up in the mornings and do things like shower and eat breakfast before sitting down to work. I've spent time with my bible, petted Gracie, opened the windows, and strolled to the mailbox. I've even worked super late the past few nights and have enjoyed it because, and this is unthinkable, I'm getting to the bottom of my to-do list! I can't remember the last time I was able to scratch away the dusty film from those neglected items and give them the TLC they deserve.
So life is good, and Jeff and I are working harder than ever with more joy than ever. Our new blog, our (almost) new website, our incredible couples, and the pending end of winter signal amazing things to come in 2009.
So when I plopped down to work on Tuesday morning, refreshed from a deep sleep and a bowl of my favorite Kashi cereal, I saw that our blog had received 801 comments since it began two years ago! I just want to thank everyone that has taken the time to encourage us through your comments - I am being honest when I say that every comment warms our hearts and motivates us to move forward with our dreams.
