For many of our recent clients, you already know this, and for others that don't, you are sooo invited to dinner!
More and more, Jeff and I have been meeting with our couples in our own home, which is wonderful...and terrifying. We have lived in our cute little homey home for about a year now and it has gone through many, many changes. I'm the kind of girl who (as far as I know!) appreciates good style and great interior design, but when it comes to my own place, it takes a while for me to actually figure out exactly what to do with a space. I've watched HOURS of HGTV - Divine Design, Design on a Dime, Color Correction, House Hunters, Deserving Design - you name it, I've seen it! And a lot of it! But I always finish a show thinking, why can't I do that!
So recently I've turned to the blogging world for some inspiration. I'm always reading about my friends lives, getting inspired by other photographers, keeping up with wedding trends on the Bridal Bar and the Brides' Cafe (my favorite), so I thought - I'm sure there's plenty of amazing interior design/decorating blogs out there. And I've found it.
In case anyone else totally knows this site and I'm just slow on the uptake, I apologize.
But I think its amazing. Its called Design*Sponge and I am in love. My favorite thing about this blog is the before and afters. There are tons of them and they are just small projects like chairs, cabinets, and desks. Nothing super major. And they come from ordinary patio projects and painting garages just like mine! Like I love this before and after with the cabinet. And then I love the opinions in the comments that come later. So much inspiration! What do you do to get inspired?
