My husband is a cutie. I really don't want to obsessively gush too much to all of you because I'm sure you don't want to hear it from this head-over-heels married girl - but I'm going to. My hubby is sweet, loving, kind, generous, positive, exciting, and above all, he's simply adorable. I'm seriously the luckiest girl in the world.
We've been hanging out with a lot of new cool couples for 2010, and each couple has been asking how we got started in photography. Which is a very valid question, and its definitely a very cool story that I think I'll write about soon. But not today. Today I want to talk about how stinkin' cute my husband can be. Since we've been telling this "making-of-two-photographers" story a bunch lately, I took a stroll down memory lane, also known as our archived wedding files, and there are so many amazing photographs from when we first started. It's such a blessing to see all of our very first beloved couples that took a chance on us when we had a small portfolio and lots of passion. Our hearts are deeply blessed by every single bride and groom we get to photograph, especially those that saw something in us long ago that no one else did!
Jeff started the photo biz just before we got married (and then I joined him), and one of his very first brides recently sent us a few images that her uncle had taken of Jeff during their wedding day portraits. This is where the adorable part comes in...

How cute is Jeff in his flippy-floppys, baggy slacks, and untucked shirt?? I just giggle when I see it.

And before anyone rats on him for being "unprofessional," I'll have you know that his brides LOVED him for this! And don't worry - Jeff now tucks in his shirt and wears (if I say so myself) a very handsome ensemble provided by J. Crew and Banana Republic, complete with closed-toe shoes.

One thing has always been the same though. Jeff still laughs, smiles, and cries through every wedding just like he did then. And that's why I love him so much, and that's why he's so stinkin' good at what he does.

A huge thanks goes to Piper, the bride, for sending these images. She was and is gorgeous, and we absolutely love her!
Hugs,
Erin

Jonathan - OMG that’s so awesome! Totally diggin the flip-flops. Very SD.
Noelia Kline - Honestly, I agree, I love his outfit. He looks laid back and like he’s someone from the family, which you guys seem to become with your guests.
I am inspired by you two and I have to say that I love Jeff too, well not in the way you do, lol.
When no one would take the time to check out my work and help me with planning, he did. He took the time to email me every time I had a question to make sure that we were situated with our business. Of course, I have to say that he is the best, you both are.
Thank you guys, and we love you for all that you’re done for us.
