Their beginning was not love at first sight. Aaron and Krista met over coffee after a friend suggested they hang out. As shoppers rushed past the door of the Coffee Bean at the Irvine Spectrum, Krista took a sip of her coffee and Aaron fiddled with his coffee sleeve. They chatted, she smiled, he laughed, and they agreed to meet again. So they did meet again. And again. And again. Soon, a quiet friendship turned to heartfelt midnight phone calls and wandering strolls on the beach. Coffee turned into affection, and affection into longing. But it wasn't until Krista left for a trip to Hawaii that Aaron felt love. Without her presence, Aaron knew that he was incomplete without this special woman.
Aaron has been one of Jeff's BFF's for years - in fact, he was a groomsmen in our wedding - and throughout Aaron and Krista's relationship, we have heard all about this "mystery love girl" of Aaron's. All we ever knew was that Aaron had met this amazing girl that he was going to marry someday. Of course, when you know someone really well - both good and bad - you always wonder if they'll ever find someone that will put up with them! Ha! Such is great friendship.
Well, we finally got to meet this mysterious Krista at the engagement session last weekend, and we knew instantly that she was perfect! She's sweet, kind, loving, and TONS of fun!

One of Aaron and Krista's favorite places to hang out is the Coronal Del Mar State Beach, so it was the perfect place for their engagement session. In fact, before they met, Krista would come here to read her bible, and Aaron would train for triathalons here! She totally could have been watching him swim around in the ocean and never known it!
I love Krista's smile. These two are so fun!
I had to include this because I was up on a cliff taking this shot, when suddenly Jeff felt left out... poor Jeffy.
When Jeff and I were scouting the area, we thought this would be a super romantic spot, otherwise know as "Trash Can Park." Keep in mind that the beach is ginormous, but apparently people only litter in this one spot. The first person to guess how many trash cans gets a free hug.
After tons of fun down on the beach, we headed up into the neighborhoods to take advantage of the sweet houses.
Aaron & Krista: You guys are seriously perfect for each other, and we are so excited to watch you spend the rest of your lives together. Its so meaningful to see our best friend fall in love with such an amazing girl. We love you two!
Hugs,
Erin

MsBunn.com - Hm, I’m guessing there should be 15 trash cans total in the photo, even though not all of them are in the same frame? Then there’s that big dumpster in the background, but that doesn’t count as a “trash can.”
Alex Rodriguez - What a fun shoot, the one on the sand is priceless.
