As promised, here's Part Two of Emily and Josh's fantastic engagement session in Las Vegas, NV. The Neon Museum's Boneyard was so much fun to shoot in - there's an endless amount of color, texture, and variety in the old Vegas signs that are displayed there. Its such a photographer's playground!
One of my favorite signs ended up be the old Sassy Sally display. Plus, Josh and Emily were so stinkin' cute by the time we got to it, that this totally became my favorite series!
Emily totally took our advice and had her makeup done for the session. It not only stayed perfect through the desert heat, but it make her smile and eyes look super fabulous!!
How cute are they???!!!
While I was shooting the image above, Jeff came bounding around the corner with a huge smile on his face and said, "Emily, wait 'till you see what I found! It's an 'E'!" (We're secretly hoping this becomes her Facebook profile...)
After the last light left the Boneyard, we headed back to the Strip and spent some time shooting around the beautiful Venetian courtyard.
These guys are HOT!
This image makes me want to go back to Italy. Right now. And stay forever.
When Jeff and I scouted the day before, we realized that the pool deck at the Palazzo and Venetian is not only crazy gorgeous, but has this amazing reflective light in the morning. So after our intense session the day before, we somehow convinced Josh and Emily to come out the next morning. I love that these guys are down for anything!
Yeah, there's a kiddie pool right next to this walkway. Are we goin' swimming or walking through an English garden? Who knows?? Gorgeous!
I love Emily's accessories...![]()
Josh and Emily: Thank you so much for the fun and relaxing time in Vegas. We can't thank you enough for your hospitality and your fun spirits! You guys are a dream to not only photograph, but to just hang out with. Your love is amazing and we can't wait for you wedding in April!
Hugs,
Erin

Erin - @jessica thanks for the love! It truly means a lot! We’re Canon shooters, so I’m not sure if I can give any suggestions on Nikon gear. You can check out our Canon gear on this blog post: http://theyoungrens.com/blog/?p=1426. But if you shoot us an e-mail I can totally put you in touch with some Nikon peeps we know. Also, we use Kubota’s Magic Sharp on our images. Look for more info in a future FAQ post!
Jonathan - Love the way you guys used the lighted backgrounds at the Venetian!
Jessica Hills - Wow. I LOVE your photography. I am an aspiring photographer myself and your style is my favorite and what I hope to do someday. I have a Nikon D100 and am looking for a good lens to do wedding photography and portraits. Any suggestions? I also really love the sharpness and clarity of your work. Do you use any special actions in photoshop for that? Thanks for your inspiration!
Dennis Bullock - These are so cool guys!
