The rhythmic slap of the water on the lake shore calmed his mind as he allowed his thoughts to wander. He lay his book aside and watched the sun fall through the afternoon sky. Where did he ultimately want his life to go? Not just in the short term, but in the next 80 years? Instantly, her beautiful smile captivated his thoughts. Her touch, her warmth, and her spirit all made him smile in that quiet moment in Montana. As the sun moved across the horizon, he knew. Even though it meant major changes - tough changes with career and moving - those were only temporary. As the sun sank to makes its cycle for a new day, it was no longer the temporary that motivated Kevin. It was his deep, passionate love for this amazing girl in Hermosa Beach. Where did he want to go in his life? It didn't really matter anymore as long as he was going with Kristina.
We met Kevin and Kristina for the first time on Valentine's Day and we clicked instantly. These two are fun, upbeat, and sooo in love. Taking pictures with these guys was seriously like hanging out with old friends - even though we'd only hung out once! We can't wait for their fabulous wedding at L'Auberge Del Mar in July. In the meantime, here's a few favorites from their engagement session at Balboa Park and Ocean Beach.
Kristina rocked my socks off with her creativity. She brought along some flowers just to add color to the pictures, and I think I burst with joy!
These two are smokin'!
Kevin spilled the beans that Kristina was so excited for the engagement session, that she had stopped with Kevin in the grocery store and started practicing posing! So naturally I made them show me their poses - work it!
Kevin and Kristina's favorite Saturday morning activity is riding their beach cruisers in Hermosa Beach while holding hands. These pictures make me melt, they're so darn cute!
Kevin is such a stud.
And he's really good at making Kristina laugh!
Yes, they're in the middle of Newport Blvd in Ocean Beach and, yes, they're riding their bikes. These two are champs!
As we passed by one of the biker bars, a friendly gentleman named Mike (who also happens to work at the Island Palms Hotel and Marina) offered his bike for pictures! While none of us are necessarily motorcycle enthusiasts, it was totally rad! Thanks Mike!
Kevin and Kristina: Thank you so much for hanging out with us - we had such a good time and can't wait to hang out some more! We're already itchin' for some more Kevin & Kristina goodness!
Hugs,
Erin
