Inspiration

Between the smell of morning coffee, doing pilates in my pjs, and the purr of kitty Gracie, it was a fantastic morning. Warm sunrise light filled our kitchen as Jeff cracked some eggs for breakfast and let them sizzle while he pulled me into a hug. I stirred the orange juice and ran upstairs to pull on jeans and a faded t-shirt after my morning workout (I try not to work in my pjs, at least, not THAT often...). Life can be so full sometimes, and this was one of those mornings. We let our cares slip away and the work that sat in our office upstairs could wait for some coffee in the warm sunlight. I ran back downstairs to the sound of a friend coming through the front door. As he stepped inside, Jeff yelled up to me in excitement, "Its here! The book is here!" I squealed in delight and the three of us huddled around the kitchen counter to survey what we had been waiting for: Inspiration.

A few months ago, Pictage contacted us about a project they were working on. They wanted to send something different to photographers that sign up with Pictage for the first time. Instead of receiving a boring information packet in the mail, they wanted new photographers to receive something different. Something unique. Something that would speak to the core of the artists that we are. So they decided to send Inspiration.

Pictage contacted amazing photographers from all over and asked for inspiring images to include in a collection that would be sent to these new photographers. When we were asked to be included, we were speechless and humbled and touched, to say the least. The finished product is gorgeous, and we can't believe that two of our beautiful couples get to sit among amazing photographs by Joe Buissink, Mike Colon, Shawn Reeder, and many many others.

A huge thanks goes to the folks at Pictage for putting this amazing piece of work together. If you're already a member of Pictage and would like to get your hands on one of these, stay tuned to the Pictage Blog in the next few days. An opportunity just might present itself...

Hugs,

Erin
