New Shoots Just Added to PartnerCon NOLA

Before I dive into the exciting news about PartnerCon, I just have to say that we just had a CRAZY weekend!! Our last wedding of the year was on Saturday and 2009 couldn't have ended on a more beautiful or wonderful note. We'll have all of the juicy details and highlights from Erin and Blair's wedding in just a few days, so hold on to your hats and glasses until then!

But then came Sunday... I have three words only. U2. Is. Freakin'. Amazing.

Ok, I added in "freakin'" because there is absolutely no way to describe the experience of the 360 Tour and the massive amount of time and energy we went through to get thisclose to the outer ramp. Seriously, nothing can beat spitting distance from The Edge himself. We're posting the whole story along with our pictures and videos from the concert tomorrow, but here's just a small sneak preview. And, as a side note, I would like to apologize in advance to those of you who are not crazy-obsessed U2 fans for our excessive gushing on our blog over this indescribable experience. We will return to our regularly scheduled blog-broadcasting once we work out the adrenaline that is still blasting through our systems (and once we stop blasting "Magnificent" over our stereos... which may be never...).

In other exciting news, the amazing folks at Pictage have heard your feedback regarding the limited space at the shooting workshops at PartnerCon NOLA, and have added four more shoots to the agenda!! With the help of some of our PUG members, Jeff and I will be hosting a morning shoot on Wednesday, November 4th, sponsored by the San Diego PUG! We couldn't be more excited about this opportunity, and we are so thankful to Pictage for letting our little PUG do our part for PartnerCon! We realize that our shoot is at 7am on the second day of PartnerCon when all of us will be sleep-deprived and suffering from information overload, but we've heard crazy things about the infamous morning light in New Orleans and wanted to take advantage of it. We'll all be in it together! And don't worry, I'll bring a few espresso shots for those that need it!

Here's the details:

The new workshops are now up on our Partner Conference MeetUp.com website at http://www.meetup.com/pictage, and they will officially turn on the RSVP functionality for these new Shooting Workshops TODAY at 6pm PACIFIC time. Don't delay in your RSVP. The last shoots filled up within half an hour of becoming available, so you need to sign up quickly!

The new workshops are offered to those of you that did NOT get a chance to secure a spot on the initial round of workshops, so Pictage is asking that you do not sign-up for one of these new workshops if you are already on the list for an existing workshop (or remove yourself from an existing workshop before signing up for a new one). We can't wait to meet everyone that signs-up! See you bright and early on November 4th!

UPDATE: Wow, we're totally blown away - the workshop filled up completely in under 30 seconds. Wow. We're SO excited to meet all of you in NOLA and can't wait to have a fabulous time together! Give us a holler in the comments if you're coming to the workshop!
