Sara France at the San Diego PUG

Every month our house gets invaded by the most wonderful people I know. There's chips, dip, sandwiches, music, friends, wine, beer on tap, and - as always - my famous bottled sangria filled with whatever fruit I can find in our fridge. I can't believe how amazingly tasty it turns out every time! Seriously, its like sweet nectar straight from sweetness itself... So after this laundry list of goodness, why would you even think about not coming!? Don't make me start whispering sweet nothings in your ear... (sssssssaangreeeeeeeeeaahhhh...)

So you need another reason to come to the San Diego PUG? How about shootouts and print exhibits? Or amazing speakers like Mr. Jared Platt? The one and only Joe Buissink? And now, the ever-fabulous Miss Sara France? What about hanging out with The Youngrens??? (We need some lovin'!) And there's sangria people - don't make me say it again. You're coming to the next one? I thought so...

We had our September PUG last night and I was once again blown away by the amazing people that came. I love every single one of our PUG members and I can't wait to meet even more! Our special guest, Miss Sara France, talked through the process of designing albums in Apple's Aperture as well as some of her methods behind selling albums to her clients. It was not only super valuable and informative (we wouldn't have a PUG any other way), but it was incredibly personable and entertaining.

Sara just so happens to be an Aperture guru, and she recently finished her Aperture Intensive DVD tutorial which is now available for anyone and everyone that wants to learn how to maximize their workflow within Aperture. Also, there's a special going on right now, so make sure to go to shop.sarafrance.com and enter the discount code "PUG" to get the $150 DVD for just $99! Sara rocks!

We had a packed house last night - thanks for squeezing in everybody!

Sara's is so stinkin' cute and fun to be around. Even when she's talking about design workflow, the crowd is thoroughly entertained!

Next month's PUG will be featuring post-production and workflow expert Leon Sandoval of Colorati. Check out the details and RSVP here!

Hugs,

Erin
