Its the kind of love that I don't understand yet. But with one look, she knew that this was forever. With the first touch, he knew it too. As soon as his eyes fell on her beautiful cheeks and his fingers wrapped into hers, he was in love. He would do anything for her. She wanted to spend her every moment taking care of her darling.
But that's what happens when two becomes three.
Its something that I just don't feel yet. Without a child of my own, I can only witness a mother's loving touch instead of understand the meaning behind it. But witnessing is still so magical. Watching a new father hold his baby girl so gently and kiss her soft cheeks as if they were made of porcelain is such a sweet, soft intimacy.
Jeff and I do weddings. We love everything about a wedding day - the dress, the details, the rush - but we especially thrive on the moments. We don't do very many portraits, and we especially don't do many babies. So when the sister of one of our favorite brides asked us to do a newborn session, we decided it could be a great experience. While Jeff and I watch people fall in love all year long, there is something so different about the love for an infant. Its such a different kind of intimacy and I loved exploring all of the different ways to capture the softness of new life. I have so say that I fully enjoyed spending time with little Eva Rose. She is a DARLING and Jeff and I had such a fun time!

Caitlyn (mom) had the nursery decorated so cute! I love details so I took the opportunity to indulge!
I think its pretty apparent that Eva has got a good hold on Daddy's heart. But just to make sure...
I love this family portrait. Riley, the dog, was such a sport and had to get in a few pictures - with accessories of course.
Getting a new diaper half way through.
I love these shots that we got of Paul (dad) and his daughter. I think we're gonna have a daddy's girl.
One of my favorites. It feels so peaceful.

Betsy, La Vida Creations - Ahhhhh… so precious! Love how bright and full of life this collection is. I enjoy that you included the first born, 4-legged child. That last b/w photo is just so impactful, especially with the tree of life in the background: Geeeooorgeous! Beautiful work, Youngrens!
Gary - Awesome job you guys on Project Baby… Look at you guys diversifying
LOVE the shot of the kid-o looking up (4th from the bottom). Hey, we have new friends in Bend (Erin & Ron) and you guys shot their wedding down in SoCal… random, but sweeeeeeeet… “I mean, it’s really no big deal, “Team Y” is just big-time now
it’s just their life…who they are, you may have heard of them or seen them around town, their kind of a big deal” (quoted from Gary as he rants and raves about your excellent work)
YOU GUYS are the best! Love C&G
