We know about dreams. We know how close they can feel, like you can reach across the world and feel the soft joy of them between your fingertips. We know the patience it takes. We know the successes and disappointments, the stress and the hard work, the joys and the fears. Oh those fears that can haunt your mind and your heart when you're pursuing what you deeply love. But then you reach across the world to touch your dream again, and you know that its real, so you find your next trembling step and move forward. Together.
Steven and Megan know about dreams too. Because they're going after them with the kind of commitment that true artists are all about. And they get to do it together, which if you know anything about Jeff and me, there's nothing better than pursuing your dreams with your best friend for life.
Steven and Megan are opera singers that are beginning two amazing careers in the music world, and these guys have some seriously crazy talent! They asked us if we would be willing to shoot some headshots for their portfolio, and we happily agreed. I mean, if there's anything we can do to support other emerging artists, we are 100% on board!

Normally these kinds of headshots would take place in a studio setup, but Steven and Megan were looking for something a little bit different. So they got in touch with us and asked if we could bring our natural style to their headshots, and I love how everything turned out! We got a ton of amazing images with different expressions, but here's just a few of our absolute favorites!

And now the fabulous Megan...
This girl is simply adorable!
Along with some headshots, these guys wanted a few cute pictures of just the two them. Which is perfect, cause that just so happens to be our specialty!

We asked if they had any props they wanted to bring along, and these guys totally delivered! Music is a huge part of their lives so they brought along their favorite operas for some themed shooting.

I’m glad they chose the out-of-studio avenue — the extra texture just adds that little pizazz that makes a headshot just enough extra special for an agent/director to hold on to for that all-important extra second! The photographer was amazing and I’m a bit speechless now. If you all get rich and famous, which I know you will, I would love front row seats to your opera (where I will be throwing flowers at you during the curtain call) and then come over for a nice dinner.
