As promised, here’s the second half of Brandon and Jessica’s wedding, including all of the details from the ceremony and reception. I was in love with this wedding and the orange colors that Jessica centered everything around. Jennifer Burnham out of Fresno did a wonderful job on the florals and event design. She definitely took Jessica’s vision and rocked it!
Brandon’s father built the beautiful lattices for the ceremony, which tied the ceremony site to its natural surroundings. What a personal and beautiful touch.
Yay for cheesecake! They chose to have small cheesecakes decorated and displayed, while the rest of the pieces for their 200 guests were chilled and readily drizzled with fruit or chocolate topping. As soon as they cut the cake, the rest of the guests were served perfect slices of cheesecake goodness!
Jessica’s father, Norm, watching guests arrive just minutes before walking Jessica down the aisle. (PS Anyone recognize this guy from our anniversary post? Norm performed our wedding three years ago!)
My favorite moment at every wedding is those few seconds when father and daughter wait for their cue to go down the aisle.
In case you didn’t notice, Brandon and Jessica weren’t kissing in any of their pre-ceremony images. That’s because this was their first kiss – ever. They wanted to wait until their wedding and they did it!
This is my favorite image from the whole day because not only is Brandon totally stoked to finally kiss Jessica, but his best man is so excited too!
After the ceremony, we stole them away for some shots in the best light of the day.
Jessica. Is. Gorgeous.
During his speech, Jessica’s dad, Norm, brought out the cigar that he bought the day that Jessica was born. He never ended up smoking it, but decided instead to give it to the man she would marry on their wedding day. So cool! I love how it says, “It’s a Girl” on the side.
Brandon’s dad gave a really emotional speech as well. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room!
Brandon and Jessica: Thank you so much for your love and loyalty to each other. You guys are a truly special couple, and we can’t wait to see where God takes you! Thank you for having us capture your magnificent day!
Hugs,
Erin
