John and Christie | Anaheim, CA

Ever since she was a little girl, the church doors would slowly swing open and a beautiful bride would glide down the aisle, guided by a proud father, with joy in her eyes, confidence in her steps, and pure love in her heart. Those doors captivated her, and from the first moment she watched them open, they instilled a sense of timeless romance within her heart. She knew that one day she would stand behind those doors and they would swing open for her. And she knew that the man on the other side of the doors would truly be her prince charming.

Christie is a pure romantic in her heart and I absolutely adore her for it. Her wedding day was in every sense the day that she had always dreamt about as a girl – the dress, the church, the beautiful flowers, and most of all, the man of her dreams. John is a romantic too. He had been dreaming about this day ever since he first met Christie. With every touch, with every glance, and with every kiss, he knew that God had given him something that was beyond special. In her smile, in her laugh, in her kindness, and in her gentle spirit, God had given him the world.

John and Christie’s wedding was incredibly special to Jeff and I. John and Christie are the kind of couple that you can’t wait to see get married, because you know that it is meant to be. The morning wedding took place at Christie’s home church of Victory Baptist and the reception was held at the Anaheim White House – more details on this venue in the post, but its amazing!! A special thanks goes out to Mark Leonard for shooting with us! Thanks Mark! You’re absolutely awesome!

The reception was held at the Anaheim White House which may just be one of my new favorite venues of all time. A restaurant by night, the layout is a series of rooms with beautifully set tables. Perfect attention to detail, mouth-watering food, and impeccable staff, I would highly recommend this site to anyone getting married in Anaheim. PS I loved the bow-ties!

All of the dancing, toasts, and cake-cutting was held in a beautiful outdoor setting. They are so cute during their first dance!
