Kristina’s smile radiated around the room, filling the every corner of the suite with warmth and joy. Her girls were laughing, the music was playing, and outside the window was the most beautiful July afternoon she had ever seen. The day she had been dreaming about was finally here. Kevin radiated too, only for him, his eyes dripped with joy. As he tied his shoes, donned his jacket, and straightened his tie, the moment he had been waiting for was finally here.
Kevin and Kristina know what it is to love greatly, and every moment of their wedding day ran deep with happiness, like a bottomless cup of pure joy that every guest could drink from. Surrounded by friends and family, their smiles only grew bigger and bigger with every passing hug, kiss, and laugh. All you had to do was stand near them to feel the tender rays of delight radiating off their bodies, like sitting next to a warm fire on a cool beach night. Jeff and I loved every minute of photographing these two!

Kevin and Kristina held their wedding at L’Auberge Del Mar, one of the most beautiful boutique hotels in Southern California. A huge thanks goes out to Jessica Quiroz for coordinating the day! This girl was phenomenal and we were totally taken care of every step of the way. Norma and John were also on hand with video from NR3 Video Productions, and they were super fun to work with throughout the day.
Kristina’s Sottero and Midgley gown was stunning.
One of Kevin’s best friends owns a jewelry store, and a few months before the wedding Kevin surprised Kristina by letting her pick out any piece of jewelry as her “something borrowed” for the wedding! Kristina picked the most fabulous 40 carat – yes, 40 carat – diamond bracelet. Can you say bling! Thanks Justin for the loaner!
The flowergirls were adorable as Kristina got ready.
Kevin and his crew. These guys were awesome to work with!
Jeff grabbed some great shots of Kevin before the ceremony. I love how happy and relaxed he his.
Meanwhile, I hung out with the truly fabulous girls and we had a blast!
Some details from the ceremony.
I love this next series – it was super emotional for these two!
My favorite from the day!
Hilda Franco of Franco’s Flowers in Encinitas did a fabulous job on the centerpieces and floral design.
Dinner was held on the upper main balcony of the hotel with a panoramic view of the sunset and ocean. It was the perfect setting for an intimate and beautiful reception.
After the ceremony we took the bridal party down to the beach and stopped at our favorite abandoned building.
Then we caught some of the lingering sunset light on the beach.
Kevin’s dad gave a wonderful toast.
After dinner on the balcony, the party was moved down to the main ballroom for dancing. Here’s my view of the first dance.
And here’s Jeff’s. I love this one.
The party rocked all the way till midnight and it was so much FUN!
Kevin and Kristina – we love you two! You two were so fun and we can’t wait to hang out as married friends! Yay!
Hugs,
Erin
