jeff & meredith
el adobe de capistrano
san juan capistrano, california
She sat calm, bright-eyed, and smiling the kind of smile that only exists within a bride on her wedding day. Her bridesmaids flittered around the apartment, chittering and giggling as they pulled on their shoes and clipped their earrings, hairspray clouding the air in the distance.
Meredith gazed onto scene, the space around her exuding serenity and beauty, and, as always, she smiled.
A little while later, Jeff saw Meredith for the first time on their wedding day, and he smiled too - the kind of smile that only exists within a man about to marry his bride. And although it was Labor Day weekend with all of its tourists, traffic, heat, and noise, Meredith simply leaned her cheek on Jeff's shoulder, looked up at him with those darling blue eyes, and melted the world away.
The only thing that existed between the two of them was their laughter, tears, happiness, friends, and, of course, their smiles.
