This happens both on location at the actual shoot as well as behind the scenes in your post-shoot workflow. Building a consistent, sustainable, and efficient workflow will not only foster a thrilling client experience, but offer deeper fulfillment in your business and life.
This second day of our workshop is all about mastering your camera and mastering your workflow, freeing you up to create remarkable images with every single shoot.
What’s included in this workshop?
{On Location Shoot with The Youngrens}
First, we’ll demonstrate how we connect with our ideal clients at an on location shoot with a couple, walking you step by step through our unique process that produces the authentic, emotional, and fresh work that we’re known for. Then we’ll teach you how to shape our process to match your particular photographic style.
You’ll learn how to master your technique in-camera so that you can free your mind from the technical and focus on producing great work from your heart. We’ll teach you how we find and shape the best light as well as produce great images in the not-so-great light.
{The Youngrens Post-Shoot Workflow}
Second, we’ll walk you through our post-production workflow including the download, backup, cull, edit, and delivery of the images. We’ll not only show you how we edit our images in Adobe Lightroom 3, but we’ll walk you through how we quickly and efficiently cull and organize our images to deliver to the client and vendors as well as our blog, Facebook, portfolio, and beyond.
This will also include a comprehensive look at our simple and effective digital asset management system that includes three layers of redundancy, including both on- and off-site backup. We’ll demystify the complexities of digital asset management and provide a real look at our simple and automated system that stores and protects 80 -100 shoots every year.

We’ll include a handy booklet with a list and explanation of all of the products and systems we use in our post-production and digital asset management system that can work for you at home. This stuff is complicated, but we’ve refined it over and over again over the years, and we’ve written it all down just for you.
