Bryan had a few ride tickets left and their friends had veered off to another part of the Del Mar Fair, so he steered Amy towards the ferris wheel. It was a romantic ride with the lights of the fair spread out below, and it would be the beginning of their love story. The journey continued when Amy left her position at the biotech firm where they met, and moved to Michigan for law school. Long distance flights, late night calls, and at one time, a very expensive overnighted package of Golden Spoon – Amy’s favorite frozen yogurt – brought them close together in spite of the distance. Amy would move back to San Diego as a patent lawyer, and Cuyamaca surrounded by beautiful fall colors was where Bryan asked Amy to be with him forever.
It’s the kind of sweet love story that looks so beautiful in narrative, and it looks even more gorgeous in photos! Bryan and Amy are two lovebirds that were a joy to photograph, mostly because they don’t take themselves too seriously. There were plenty of hilarious moments during their engagement session when we all just stopped and laughed, but then as soon as the shutters started clicking, they were all about each other. Bryan and Amy are definitely my kind of couple and these two melted our hearts immediately!
We met up at UC San Diego and wandered the fitness and biking trails through the stunning eucalyptus groves at the corner of campus for their engagement session, and I’m in love with how the images turned out!
More is coming soon soon soon from Bryan and Amy’s engagement session in La Jolla, so stay tuned for more tomorrow! If you thought today’s post was good, then hold onto your socks for tomorrow because it’s going to blow them right off! SO excited to share!!
Hugs,
Erin
