She usually never did this.
Heather is a traditional type of girl, one who usually waits for the guy to make the first move… But when she came across Doug’s profile on a dating app, she thought maybe she’d make an exception. Just this once.
So she did – she left him a message, leaving the ball in his court… and she waited… and days went by… and *crickets.*
When they happened to meet among mutual friends a few weeks later, she played it cool, though inside she was thinking “THAT’S THE GUY!” He wrote her back after-the-fact (he hadn’t seen her message until then!), and this strange twist of fate led Heather and Doug down an adventure that couldn’t have had a more perfect ending.
Heather is from Newport Beach, so on one of Doug’s rare days off in his residency on the East Coast, he flew to California. He asked her dad one day, proposed on the beach the next day, and now Heather and Doug are planning the wedding of their dreeeeeams at The Resort at Pelican Hill. It’s going to be an amazing day and Jeff and I cannot WAIT.
Heather grew up sailing in Newport, so the Newport Harbor Yacht Club was the perfect place to stroll around and capture Doug and Heather being their happy selves! Afterwards, we spent some time near the very beach where Doug proposed… #totesadorbs
