They are lovers of beer, their dog, their cars, and each other. Al and Nicole have been together for over 8 years, and their sweet friendship is immediately apparent. Yes, they laugh together… they seem to have boatloads of fun… they cuddle nice and close to each other with very little prompting. But what I loved the most about these two was their comfort. Even when they were ten feet apart, they were connected to one another. They didn’t need to be touching to know that they were nearby, that they have each other’s backs.
Al and Nicole have built over their many years together the unbreakable bond of intimate companionship that forms between people who have done life together. Who have dug into the inner corners and come out other side with just as much love and respect as before – probably even more. It was such a treat to spend an afternoon with them, and photograph the deep friendship that they have created. It was even sweeter that they brought their cute pup, Sonic, plus a few of Al’s cars – a 1964 Impala and a 2011 Porsche Boxster Spider (this one is coming tomorrow – stay tuned!). This session definitely turned into an epic day that Jeff and I have been raving about ever since!
There is so much more to come tomorrow with both of Al’s unbelievably beautiful cars – his 1964 Impala plus a 2011 Porsche Boxer Spider. I don’t think I’ve been this excited for an engagement session post in a long time. Buh-leive me – tomorrow is going be classic!
Hugs,
Erin
