Caitlin’s friend watched as David sat down in class next to her and pulled out a palm pilot. In that moment, her friend had a revelation. It was like the fire alarm went off on the entire campus – as she watched David meticulously organize his calendar, she knew this boy would be PERFECT for Caitlin.
And he was. But not just because Caitlin and David share a mutual love for all things organizational. He just was. From the moment that these two were finally introduced at one of David’s frat parties, the relationship was easy. Through their first date, college graduation, careers and career changes, and then finally a sweet proposal on a dock overlooking the water, they never doubted the relationship.
Jeff and I first met these two at Jeff and Kelsey’s Hotel Del Coronado wedding when Caitlin was the maid of honor. As soon as we saw her smile light up the room around her, we knew that we HAD to shoot her wedding. Couples like David and Caitlin make our hearts swell up to ten times their size, and it was totally apparent during their engagement session in their home city of Seattle that our hearts may not ever be the same again! These two are soooo fun and one of their favorite activities is running and working out together, so they dressed up in their cutest workout clothes and we headed down to their favorite part of the city – the streets around Pike Place market.

After a quick outfit change, we headed towards the piers to show off the city.
Them boots are made for walking… in STYLE.
All I can say is WOW.
David and Caitlin spend tons of time on the ferries so we were stoked when one passed by. Totally a fave!
