Her roommate knew the moment she watched them meet that Liz was going to marry Jared. Liz scoffed at the suggestion. How could her roommate possibly know that she was going to fall in love with this boy? Yes, he was sweet and nice in their short first conversation, but there weren’t any sparks.
“Trust me, ” her roommate warned. “In two weeks you’re going to be pining after that man.”
And she was right. Within two weeks, this boy that made her laugh and opened her doors and treated her like a princess had completely stolen her heart.
If you ask these two they’re favorite thing about each other, they’ll reply that they feel incredibly lucky that they’re super good friends. In those exact words – ‘super good friends.’ Not just good, but super good. Which is apparently a whole ‘notha level of friendship where you can laugh until it hurts, cry when you need to, and go on long lingering hikes every single day and never get bored. It’s the place where your hands fit together, your strides match in sync, and your smiles can’t get any brighter. And hanging out with Jared and Liz on that ‘super good friends’ level is a pretty sweet afternoon.
Liz grew up in Pacific Palisades, a meandering neighborhood in the hills above Santa Monica, and spent her growing up years walking and hiking in Will Rogers State Park just around the corner from her house. Jared and Liz have spent countless hours hiking through the hills of the park, so it was the perfect fit for their engagement session.
During the session there was plenty of laughing…
Lots of kissing…
Some sweet cuddling…
And a whole lot more laughing! In fact, at this point in the session we laughed so hard that Liz started crying and I started doubling over in pain. Just ask Jared about carne asada the next time you see him… 🙂
