Oh my lovely! This shoot is so fabulous I can hardly STAND it!
When Jeff and I were in Chicago for some wonderful shoots this fall, we wanted to take full advantage of the city that we love, so we hit up one of our fabulous past couples, Stefan and Morgan, to come model for us. Morgan slipped back into her gorgeous silk gown, Stefan donned his tux, Gia at Charles Ifergan worked her magic with hair and makeup, I added some fabulous accessories, and BAM – we had ourselves a classic shoot in a legendary city!!
We photographed Stefan and Morgan’s elegant black tie wedding at the Fairmont Miramar in Santa Monica back in 2012, so it was such an honor to capture their beautiful faces and lovely hearts three years into their marriage. Connecting with these two again brought so much joy to our hearts, that what began as an inspiration session for Jeff and me quickly became a meaningful Anniversary Session for these two – a super dolled up one at that!
If you didn’t know this about us, we LOVE anything that looks like an elegant east coast black tie affair, and this shoot turned out EXACTLY as I imagined – east coast elegance meets west coast lovely – all done in our signature Youngren style. (And as always, if you know of anyone getting married in Chicago, you know we’d die to photograph it!)
Stefan & Morgan: We absolutely ADORE you both, and we were honored to be able to share in your story once again. Thank you for your friendship, for your open hearts, and for your love for one another. You are both beautiful people on the inside and the out, and know that your marriage is an inspiration to those around you – Jeff and me included!
