Noelle was a gymnast and a cheerleader. Adam was in a band and a skater.
So they lived in different worlds during their entire upbringing, even though they grew up in the same neighborhood, went to the same school, and knew the same people.
They were ships in the night, circling around each other for years, not knowing their parallel lives would someday intersect.
What brought them together, though, was their best friends, who were a brother and a sister. (Love you guys BUNCHES Suzie & Patrick!)
And when they connected, Adam began to see Noelle’s heart, and he saw her differently. He was falling in love with the whimsical girl that had an endless fountain of optimism.
For a long time, Noelle had no idea that this tattooed boy that seemed to live on the edge had feelings for her.
She had no idea, until the right moment came and he could finally asked her out. And she had no idea how amazing he was until he started talking about his deep faith in God. And his love for community. And his heart for his family.
And then one day she realized that this tattooed boy that was so opposite from her was really her soulmate.
Adam and Noelle wear their hearts on their sleeves – 100%!! The way they cry at every moment, laugh at everything, and find joy in anything is SO STINKIN’ AWESOME. Their wedding at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu was nothing short of an emotional joy-storm!!
In fact, I didn’t see a dry eye in the house (including Jeff and me) as they exchanged vows through their heartfelt tears and thanked each other for being amazing.
This wedding of two opposite people that truly aren’t so opposite was an epic party of friends, a celebration of two incredible families… and a cry-fest for all of the rest of us!
Friends, this is just the first half of this epic day… part two tomorrow is even better! It’s worth the wait, though, and I’ll see you in just a short 24 hours!!
Hugs,
Erin
