I really need to describe Christian and Nicole in smiles, because that’s basically how these two communicate. They have a different kind of smile for everything and for everyone. It’s like they’re engines running on sunshine gasoline – and they’re pulling the rest of us along with them.
And I absolutely love it.
I love the way Christian looks at his gorgeous bride like he’s totally marrying up. The way she leans into him while laughing with her sister. The way they both simply love to fill the air around them with the same joy that they’re feeling right then and there. And I simply drink it in, because I absolutely, totally love it.
These two held their wedding at one of the most darling venues in San Diego, the lovely and charming Thursday Club in Point Loma. This former estate has just enough charm to welcome you in, but enough of a blank slate to get totally personalized. So with the help of the fabulously talented Heather of Amorology, they used the love of their two pups, Ava and Kaya, to create a quirky and adorable doggie themed wedding. I can’t wait to share all of the details!

We began the day with the girls in their suite at Humphrey’s Half Moon Inn on Shelter Island, and I absolutely fell in love with Nicole’s Vera Wang gown.
