Friday doesn’t get any better than this my dear readers – we have the second half of Eric and Lacey’s wedding at the Turnip Rose Promenade and it’s nothing short of dynamite! Turnip Rose Promenade is a teeny oasis of an event venue tucked back into Costa Mesa complete with romantic market lights, a gorgeous ceremony space, and some lush vines right nearby. After we dried our happy tears from the ceremony, we spent some quiet moments with just Eric and Lacey, who added a feather hairpiece and belt to jazz up her clean look for the reception.
BAM! I love Lacey’s eyes!
Since she only gets to wear it once, we told Lacey to have fun playing in her dress. It’s a gown that’s meant to move after all!
Back at the cocktail hour, guests were enjoying custom cocktails and mingling.
Lacey and Eric put soil and basil seeds into small mason jars for guests to take home and begin growing. I also loved the colorful cake and the chic stationary.
Every piece of florals was completely sustainable because they were all made out of re-plantable succulents – even the bridesmaids bouquets could be planted the next day! Such a great idea!
Once everyone was inside, the night was filled with dancing…
Toasts…
Memories…
Heartfelt moments…
And a dance party that went late into the night thanks to Extreme DJ!
Eric and Lacey: Your upbeat spirits and kind hearts made this day so special. We couldn’t help but smile the entire time we were with you because your positivity and caring are simply infectious. You are going to be SO happy together and we were incredibly humbled to be a part of this momentous occasion!
Hugs,
Erin
