That’s exactly how Makenna and Daniel were feeling, because they gave Emily Smiley (Makenna’s godmother) complete creative control over everything. The decor. The flowers. The layout. It was all a HUGE joyful, tearful, INCREDIBLE surprise!
From the beautiful ceremony on the beach to the oh-so-elegant reception in the Crown Room, Daniel and Makenna’s Hotel Del Coronado wedding had our jaws on the floor all day long! (If you haven’t already, be sure to check out Part One here!)
Not only is Emily one of the most detailed and talented designers in San Diego, but she has known Makenna’s sweet heart since she was a little girl (and was a flower girl in her own wedding!). So she poured her soul into making sure every single detail was perfect for Makenna’s dream wedding day!
They walked into a reception space dripping with elegance and lush white florals, perfectly designed by Emily Smiley and her team of incredible vendors. Rashell Whitehead and her glam squad had every hair and eyelash in place, DJ Justin Kanoya kept the party lively all night, and ScenEmotion captured everything on video!
