Travis and Swathi’s careers fly them all over the world. It’s not unusual to find them landing in the most remote and exotic and off-the-beaten-path places you can possibly imagine.
(In fact, they chose Hawaii for their honeymoon, because a vacation that seems so ‘normal’ is actually very abnormal for their crazy lives! Ha!)
But their jet-setting to the far corners of the earth has made these two particularly good at savoring.
Because Travis and Swathi have seen these remote and exotic and off-the-beaten-path places, they don’t take anything for granted. They have learned that human connection is the most important thing that matters. They have learned to look everyone in the eyes, to listen with their whole hearts, and to take in even the smallest of moments.
And they did this so well on their wedding day, too.
When Jeff and I asked them to breathe in the salty ocean air and take in the view on their wedding day, they pulled each other in close, took a deep breath and savored it all.
Travis and Swathi chose to celebrate at L’Auberge Del Mar with the Hindu traditions of Swathi’s family, and it made me so happy!! It absolutely doesn’t matter what the tradition is, I just LOVE tradition! I love the history and meaning and significance of it – no matter what, I think it’s so beautiful!
And this Indian wedding was no exception. All of Travis and Swathi’s guests arrived in colorful sari’s, the Hindu ceremony was breathtaking, and Travis and Swathi looked stunning in their red and black attire. It was a gorgeous day from top to bottom!
Part Two of Travis and Swathi’s Indian wedding at L’Auberge Del Mar features more gorgeous portraits of these two cuties along with all of the amazing reception moments!
That’s coming tomorrow, and I simply can’t WAIT!! Stay tuned!!
Hugs,
Erin
