Matthew and Dana are used to making it happen in life – they’re high-achieving lawyers that kill it with everything they do. They not only listen to directions, but they do it way better than they’re asked, stepping right over the high bar of expectations in life and leaving it in their dust.
When they met one another, they knew it was a partnership of perfection. Not only did they laugh together but they understood one another’s ambitions, and neither of them are fond of being the center of attention. But in my opinion, if they choose to live their lives behind the scenes, then the crazy awesome machines they run behind the curtain are perfectly oiled and running like clockwork.
Because they’re just used to being that awesome.
Matthew and Dana chose a New Year’s Eve wedding to celebrate their nuptials, and they couldn’t have picked a more glamorous location for their black tie wedding than the Park Hyatt Aviara. Their moonlit evening ceremony took place just after twilight, and guests arrived in all of their finest gowns and thick dress coats to witness their ‘I Dos.’
Then everyone retreated inside to a glamorous white and gold reception with stunning black accents designed by the impeccably talented Susanne Duffy of Crown Weddings along with florals and an eye-popping head table created by Splendid Sentiments. Oh I could photograph gorgeous weddings with this amazing team of vendors every day!
Today, we’re featuring the beautiful Matthew & Dana along with the intimate candlelit ceremony, and tomorrow will bring all of the reception details and festivities. Luckily, we were able to photograph this darling ceremony just before the sun went down before heading inside with Matthew and Dana.
Tomorrow will bring all of the eye-popping reception details of this black tie New Year’s Eve wedding at the Park Hyatt Aviara, along with the awesome confetti cannon celebration at midnight!! You don’t want to miss this one! It was a bang to photograph! Ha!
