One evening while they were still dating, Cathy grabbed Minh’s phone to order some food. As she typed in her search for dinner, her eyes zeroed in on a recent search she was most definitely not supposed to see:

Sooo… it wasn’t a huge shock to Cathy when Minh popped the question soon after in a restaurant overlooking Central Park, but her answer remained the same, surprise or no surprise: YES.
Minh and Cathy said “I do” in an intimate courthouse ceremony in New York City before they jetted off to Abu Dhabi, where they live and work. But these newlyweds still dreamed of celebrating with their family and friends, to honor the heritage that has shaped who they are.
So they invited their guests for an unforgettable weekend at Park Hyatt Aviara in Carlsbad, and Minh and Cathy were thrilled to treat their guests to a special celebration!
It was three days of delicious food, incredible entertainment, and gorgeous details (not to mention fabulous fashion!), all to honor the people that mean the world to Minh and Cathy. They worked with Thomas Bui Lifestyle to create the weekend of their dreams, and it was PERFECT!
