As wedding photographers, Jeff and I have the privilege of not only taking pictures of our couples’ happiest days… but also cheering them on in all that’s ahead in their marriage.
And it’s so clear to us that Nikhil and Tracy truly understand the meaning of marriage.
They are fully aware of the gift that they have in each other, and they hold deep admiration and respect for the other. But they understand it isn’t all going to be a cake-walk… and most importantly, they are committed to walking through it all together as an infallible team.
Jeff and I fell in love with Nikhil and Tracy’s genuine, kind, committed hearts at their gorgeous engagement session at Crystal Cove… but sooo much has happened since that evening in early 2020.
Working as physicians during a global pandemic AND trying to plan a wedding would take a toll on anyone… but dang, these two inspire us.
Nikhil and Tracy have managed to keep their feet firmly planted, and their hearts focused on what matters most.
And it made their wedding celebration that much more special.
In fact, day one of Nikhil and Tracy’s Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel wedding was nothing short of PERFECT. Their traditional Indian Baraat ceremony was exploding with color and energy and music… and completely brimming with joy.
After a year of stress and uncertainty, the lighthearted feeling in the air was positively indescribable.
The dancing and celebration and togetherness filled up our hearts, and it was evident that it filled up the hearts of each and every guest, too!
Tracy’s first traditional Indian wedding experience was her own, and it was so fun to witness both her excitement to experience each moment, as well as see Nikhil watch Tracy delight in embracing every meaningful tradition. The gorgeous henna by their amazing artist Vaishali Bellad, the incredible musical stylings of their sitar player Ronobir Lahiri, and ALL of the incredible colorful details… it was all so uplifting and joyful!
I just can’t wait to share all these images with you, my friend… all the colors and smiling faces are sure to lift your wedding-deprived-spirits!
