Scott and Susie have lived much and loved much.
They have both experienced the heartbreaking loss of their first loves, something I can’t imagine experiencing first hand, but hits oh-so-close to my heart.
But what is remarkable and inspiring is that these two are not DEFINED by the trials that they have been through or the mountains they have faced.
What defines these two is the second chance they were given to love big again when they met one another.
What defines these two is their JOY.

Scott and Susie’s kind of courage is breathtaking for Jeff and me. We laughed and we cried with these two during their entire wedding as we watched them bravely step into a brand new chapter of their story.
It was a day to honor their strong legacy but also to celebrate their new beginnings, and how I loved watching these two celebrate!!

From Susie’s Oscar de la Renta dress and Prada shoes to her son walking her down the aisle to the seriously cute donut bar that guests LOVED at the reception, this was a day full of STYLE and HEART.
If your hearts aren’t already TEN TIMES their size, then just wait for Part Two!! This wedding will melt your heart into a giant pool of buttah, and I can’t wait to share all of the incredible details from this STUNNING and JOYFUL wedding!
