If love were a backflip, it would be the love that Adam and Kim share.
Literally.
Because when Adam proposed and Kim said yes, Adam did a backflip. Right there on the Santa Monica pier where his knee had touched the ground, he spun over backwards – kind of like his heart had just done when he asked the most important question of his life. (And there’s proof of it too thanks to the wonderful Boone and Stacie Frenzel).
And I have reason to believe that Adam’s heart will be doing backflips of joy for the rest of his life, because the way that he loves Kim is with nothing short of his entire being. His eyes fill with adoration when he looks at her and then it fills his smile and then his chest and then circles all the way down to his toes.
And then Kim smiles, because she knows that in Adam’s eyes, she is lovely, she is wonderful, and she is known. She loves his sense of humor and his funny antics. She loves that he doesn’t take life too seriously, yet works harder and smarter than everyone around him. And most of all, she loves that when she’s in his arms, her heart does backflips too.
Adam and Kim are two LA urbanites with blooming careers in acting and fashion (recognize this guy from the Emmy’s last weekend?) so they channeled their love for Hollywood (and boba tea) into a chic wedding at The Loft on Pine, a brand new venue inside a renovated theater in downtown Long Beach. I love the soft touches and clean lines that they incorporated into the look of their day, keeping things elegant while taking full advantage of the vintage venue. Bloomin Bride Designs provided the romantic florals as well as coordinated the day, and we began our morning with Adam and Kim getting prepped in their separate rooms.
