Friends, this wedding is ALL THE FEELS. Everywhere Jeff and I turned while photographing Justin and Clare’s gorgeous day, someone was doing something super sweet and emotional.
Like Justin’s brother bursting into tears when he saw Clare getting ready in her bridal robe and her hair and makeup was done so perfectly… And Justin’s mom gifting her a welcome-to-the-family bracelet… And her brother choking up during family portraits when it was time to take a photo with his little sis… (but then, he’s one of our former TY Grooms so OF COURSE he’s awesome!)
It was all so much love that we were swimming in the goodness!
Plus, Clare’s mom decked out the Rengstorff House in true fairytale fashion to make sure this was the day of her little girl’s dreams. She draped the entire space in florals, her dad hung market lights, they brewed iced coffee from the roaster Justin & Clare work at in Nashville, and they incorporated meaningful family heirlooms into the littlest of spaces.
In fact, I think I heard Clare’s mom say that when she was done decorating this sweet Victorian estate, it would never look this amazing again! And I believe it!
After the emotional ceremony in which Justin’s father officiated (check out Part One of their wedding here!), we spent some time in the golden sunset light with Justin and Clare before joining their guests for dinner in the garden with the last warm streaks of the evening passing through the trees.
Justin & Clare: Your hearts are everything! Thank you for inviting us into all of the most special moments of your day and for trusting us with all of your hearts. We felt so loved by you both and have been incredibly honored to tell your family’s story for all these years! We’re so excited to be married friends now and to journey with you both in this big crazy adventure called marriage!
Hugs,
Erin
