I’m not gonna lie – our week in St. Lucia was hot, humid, and exhausting. I haven’t sweat through so many t-shirts since working maintenance at summer camp with a group of lumberjacks. Chopping down trees baby. Oh yeah.

But all of the heat and long hours while working with the Do Something World organization this last week in St. Lucia was totally worth it when it came to encountering new places and new people.

So between jobs with the production team, Jeff decided to create some portraits of the people that we got to interact with during the week – people from all walks of life. All of these portraits were taken on our 50mm f/1.2L at 1.2. We don’t usually shoot this lens at 1.2 – that can be dangerous when it comes to focusing – but we wanted to give these images a little different look.
