Boone and Stacie have been married for ten years, and the decade that is behind them is not just a beautiful story of love. It’s a redemptive story of bravery, companionship, forgiveness, joy, and faithfulness.
It’s beautiful to see these two together and watch how they look at each other when no one else is around. Boone looks at his wife and sees commitment, her beautiful eyes reflecting his strength back to him. Stacie sees in Boone a man of kindness and grace, a gentle soul with boundless joy.
These two said “I do” many years ago, but every single day since then they have been saying, “I forever will,” and this first decade of their marriage is a testimony of the many more joyful decades to come.
Boone and Stacie are wedding photographers in Bakersfield, CA, and we have been privileged to share in our business journeys together over many many years, so we were thrilled when they asked us to make some anniversary portraits of them for their ten year anniversary. And GUYS – we found out that these are the FIRST photos they’ve had taken since their wedding.
This is why I believe in Anniversary Sessions so much – they tell a story that needs to be told, but is often forgotten in the day to day. The wedding is a breathtaking milestone, but marriage is where the true journey takes place.
