Lacey loves that he’s smart. And witty. Which makes Eric the kind of career-minded ambitious guy with an intelligent – yet facetious – sense of humor. He makes her laugh out loud with his quick wit and unexpected remarks that contrast his sharp professional appearance. He’s always surprising – and delighting – her.
Eric loves that she’s happy. Her joyful personality bubbles with optimism, balancing his realist side in the most perfect way. Her eyes shine with sincere delight, and nothing could dampen her confident smile or hopeful spirit.
Eric and Lacey readily admit that they’re opposites, but whenever life put them in each other’s way during their college and post-grad years, they always ended up being the best of friends. They reconnected again after graduation and med school, and got to know each other ‘as adults’ (Lacey would say), but they were so opposite that it never occurred to them that they could be anything more than just old friends. After several dinner ‘hang-outs’ of catching up, Lacey’s mom finally brought up the fact it totally looked like they were dating.
And so they were. In fact, they were so much more than either of them could ever have imagined.
The Los Angeles Library in the of heart of downtown LA is a super special place to Lacey’s family since her sister, Ericka, got married there in 2011 (check out Ryan and Ericka’s magical Cafe Pinot Wedding). We’re diehard fans of this place, and Lacey and Eric’s classic style fit like a glove with this romantic Tuscan garden tucked beneath the towering skyscrapers of the city.
Lacey was looking HOT in her sculpted dress and rockin’ heels.
I also love love love Eric’s bow tie. Any guy that rocks a bow tie is automatically awesome in my book.
I love a girl in Louboutins.
Awwwww! These two make my heart totally melt!
Stay tuned for so much more of Lacey and Eric’s classic engagement session at the Los Angeles Library tomorrow. We’ve only scratched the surface of this gorgeous session and Part Two is going to make your eyes pop with delight!
Hugs,
Erin
