Tim doesn’t see what Trish could be or might be. He doesn’t see what the future may hold for her or what she might become someday. Instead, he sees the incredible woman that she is right now, the compassionate spirit that she has always been, and the wise being that she is growing into. He sees the greatness in her and has always seen the greatness in her from the first moment they met. He calls it out, pulls it forward, and allows her to live in it when it would be hidden and nobody could see it, particularly herself. He’s loves her dual nature – the wonderful mix of traditional lady that would settle in the suburbs with two carseats strapped into a Volvo while living in and embodying the city as a glamorous cosmopolitan woman. She’s a straight-up family girl with a fierce urban streak.
And all of this Tim sees and knows and desperately loves. And I would think that for an utterly gorgeous woman like Trish, to be seen by someone so humble and generous, to be known so deeply and graciously, and still to be considered so unbelievably beautiful on the inside and the out is the greatest gift that love can give.
Jeff and I became instant friends with Tim and Trish a few years ago in Cabo San Lucas during Josh and Kate’s destination wedding in Mexico. Since then, we’ve been watching their relationship grow and couldn’t WAIT for the day that they would finally tie the knot. These San Francisco natives chose to host their wedding at Long Meadow Ranch Winery in the heart of Napa, and this day was everything a Napa wedding should be – sweet, romantic, golden, and memorable!
We began the day with the girls getting ready at a beautiful home in St. Helena.

Lavender was a theme of the day and the girls wore flowing summer dresses paired with peony bouquets.
Riiight?? Trish is such a gorgeous woman and it was impossible to take anything but stunning photos of her!
Meanwhile, the boys were getting their own prep on…
I am in love with Tim’s three piece summer suit paired with a blue-grey tie and a lavender boutonniere. The boys looked SHARP.

Tim and Trish’s pup couldn’t be at the wedding in person, but everyone made sure he was there in spirit! So cute!

How picture perfect is this winery? Jeff and I were just so excited!!
I know that I always say that the best is still to come in Part Two, but seriously… tomorrow is going to be eye-popping! We took Tim and Trish out to the vineyards and you’re going to FLIP over their portraits! You definitely don’t want to miss the rest of their Napa wedding, so we’ll see you in the morning!
