It was quite a bit of persistence on Gerry’s part that brought him and Emilee together. He would ask her on dates, but she would always bring some friends along. He would sit next her at work events, and she would see him around, and after a long while she finally agreed to a date. It didn’t take long for that to turn into love, and a few years later, Gerry asked Emilee if she wanted to go on a walk. She agreed, of course, but he asked if she would dress up. It was going to be a special walk, because he was going to ask this beautiful woman to be a part of his life forever.

Gerry and Emilee are sweetness in a bottle, and their connection felt wonderful and strong. They chose Rancho Valencia in Rancho Santa Fe for their fall blush wedding, a place at which Emilee has fond memories with her family, and they celebrated with 50 friends and relatives on a day that couldn’t have been more beautiful. Emilee chose a rockstar team of vendors with Annette Gomez designing the lovely florals and Merilee of Ever After Events coordinating the celebration perfectly. I adored the creamy blush colors throughout the decor and the sparkly touches that were incorporated into the details. The decor, the couple, the vendors, the location – it was certainly a dream day on all accounts for Jeff and me!

We began the day with Emilee and the ladies getting ready at Rancho Valencia while Gerry prepped at their home not too far away.
