Oh be still my photographer heart… This set of film from Bryan and Amy’s glamorous seaside wedding at Scripps Seaside Forum is dreeeeeeeamy.
Bryan and Amy’s day was the perfect mix of rustic and refined, and I feel like that perfectly sums up medium format film. It’s imperfect, it’s manual, and it’s physical, but that’s exactly what makes it so elegant. It’s imperfections are authentically beautiful, and I am drawn to the genuine nature of it. Seeing Bryan and Amy’s lovely day captured this way makes me so happy, particularly with all of the rustic, organic florals by Blush Botanicals mixed with the elegant decor of the ceremony and reception by I Do… Weddings and Events.
My favorite details? The big pink peonies mixed with the soft sage of eucalyptus, and the sweet farmhouse chairs that Amy chose. Love!
