Matthew and Dana are used to making it happen in life – they’re high-achieving lawyers that kill it with everything they do. They not only listen to directions, but they do it way better than they’re asked, stepping right over the high bar of expectations in life and leaving it in their dust. When they met one another, they knew it was a partnership of perfection. Not only did they laugh together but they understood one another’s ambitions, and neither of them are fond of being the center of attention. But in my opinion, if they choose to live their lives behind the scenes, then the crazy awesome machines they run behind the curtain are perfectly oiled and running like clockwork.
Matthew and Dana’s elegant New Years’ Eve wedding at the Park Hyatt Aviara gave Jeff and me chills as we photographed all of the loveliness. It took very little for us to channel our inner-Hepburn with this glamorous couple at such a sophisticated venue.
Plus, we had a dream team of vendors with Susanne Duffy of Crown Weddings collaborating with Splendid Sentiments to create a stunning white and gold reception accented with touches of black. The head table was a masterpiece in florals and the celebratory atmosphere curated by Mick of Elite British DJ made the evening sparkle. To top off the night, confetti cannons ushered in the new year with plenty of well wishes and midnight kisses!! This is everything a glamorous New Year’s Eve wedding should be!
