I don’t think Chris could ever go a day in his life without feeling completely loved by Katie. Her warmth rushes out of her skin and wraps you up into a giant Katie-blanket of love, encouragement, and peace when you’re around her and there is no possible way not to feel adored. We are all ok in her presence. We are all good enough just the way we are. In fact, we are all perfect just the way we are.
To watch Chris and Katie love is to feel as if all of the jumbled pieces of yourself come to rest because what they have is so straightforward and simple and strong. They love each other because they can’t help it. The light touches, the wrinkled noses, and the quick kisses are simply the by-products of their affection and it’s their unrelenting genuine adoration of each other that helps all of us feel the honest truth about their love.
