Happy isn’t quite the right word to describe Eric and Whitney’s hearts on their wedding day… GIDDY is much more like it!

Jeff and I got a taste of these cutie-pies last year for their lovely engagement session, and we instantly fell in love with their silly, sweet, flirtatiously-competitive way together. It’s easy to tell how connected their hearts are – and they’ve been so eager to tie the knot and lock each other down forever!

Eric and Whitney said “I do” at a picture-perfect ceremony at The Lodge Torrey Pines… and every detail took our breath away! (Wow-wow-wow, Crown Weddings and Splendid Sentiments are a dream-team!)

Despite all the butterflies jumping around in their giddy hearts, Eric and Whitney took time to slow down and savor every aspect of their day.

Because when Eric and Whitney are together, their minds are calm, their eyes come alive, and their hearts are totally at peace.

And this is why we (really really) loved their ceremony: Eric’s dad officiated and did an INCREDIBLE job! He guided through Eric and Whitney in the most meaningful promise of their lives, and assured them that when they reflect back on their marriage 25 years from now, the reason their marriage will be great will not be because everything was easy. In fact, it will be all the difficult times that bring them closer and transform them as a couple… *that* is what will make their marriage great. (Cue the weeping!!)
