San Diego is my first love when it comes to cities, but I have to admit that I left a little bit of my photographer heart in Portland with Garrett and Heather’s downtown wedding. There’s something a bit magical about an old church tucked between the tall buildings of a bustling city and a gorgeous bride and groom arriving to say ‘I do.’
Heather and Garrett held their ceremony at the First Presbyterian Church of downtown Portland, Oregon, and it’s one of those old historic churches with polished wooden pews and a gleaming balcony circling the entire sanctuary. It was jaw-droppingly gorgeous! A big thanks goes out to Kelsey of Doxa Deo Weddings for coordinating the day flawlessly and to Woodlawn Floral Studio for the beautiful floral design.
Let’s begin today with this sweet ceremony I keep talking about…
Garrett and Heather: You two make us smile on the inside and the out. Your joy is simply contagious, and I hope you never lose your humble, lively, and downright FUN spirits. You two share a strong love, and I know you are going to experience deeply meaningful and fruitful lives because you are together!
Hugs,
Erin
