My friends, I’m having so much fun right now because:
- We’re HOME. Like for a while, we’re home. As in, we can go grocery shopping on a regular basis and use our dishwasher kind of home. (Gracie the cat is stoked!)
- My favorite holiday is just around the corner – Thanksgiving!!
- My second favorite holiday is also around the corner – Black Friday. Aww yeah…
And lastly, because we’re not on the road in some foreign country where internet isn’t my friend, I’m FINALLY able to share bunches of amazing shoots that we’ve done over the summer and early fall here on the bloggy-blog. (Did you see yesterday’s courthouse-themed shoot in New York City?? Oh my wow!)
This past summer, Jeff and I were honored to photograph an editorial gown spread for Exquisite Weddings Magazine, and the issue just hit newsstands this month! The theme of the shoot was industrial glamour and took place in downtown San Diego’s latest urban chic venue, Luce Loft. Models, dresses, shoes, and gorgeous details were piled up like candy during this shoot, and I am beyond thrilled with how the feature turned out. Definitely pick up a copy of the issue to see all of the amazing inspiration!
The editors at Exquisite Weddings gave us tons of spreads in the issue so we are simply delighted, but as always, there are lots of images that just couldn’t make it into the magazine. So for today, I’m totes excited to share many more images that we captured during the shoot that make my heart go pitter-patter. A big thanks goes out to the wonderful vendor team that worked on this shoot including Melissa Barrad, Organic Elements, Mish Mucho, and My Girls on Film.
