Chris and Sarah have had us photograph them for their anniversary every January since we documented their wedding two years ago.

These two don’t have us photograph them just because they love getting dressed up.
It’s not just because they love documenting each year of their blossoming marriage.
It’s because they love to be reminded.
As soon as we began shooting, Chris paused and said, “I feel like I’m back at our wedding when I saw Sarah at our First Look, and I remember how lucky I felt to be marrying this girl. I still feel that way every single day.”
And then he burst into happy tears.
And then we all burst into happy tears.
Because we all were reminded.
Sarah has been planning their second anniversary shoot since the moment we wrapped up their first one last year, so she’s been on the hunt for the perfect location. When she came across Hudson Loft in downtown LA last summer on Instagram, she KNEW it was the perfect place!
So this pair of newlyweds (they always get to be newlyweds) got dressed up, we met in DTLA, and we spent an incredible afternoon creating some seriously classic and romantic portraits of these two – and their little pup Waylon! #toostinkincuteforwords
