As the sun made its way to the horizon and covered Chris and Sarah in warm, golden light… it also covered them in an overwhelming assurance of grace.
That peaceful, oh-so-beautiful moment served as a reminder of all they’d walked through in the last year: more trusting, more challenges, more determination to grow a deep, strong, unshakeable marriage.
And this place, with the sound of the ocean and the calm of the seaside air, has been a place of peace and respite in all of it.
Chris and Sarah spent many months of their fourth year of marriage on opposite sides of the country due to work, so they were sighing with relief and gratitude to be connected once again by the sea.
We’ve seen Chris and Sarah grow in their marriage year after year, and have been privileged to photograph them in every stage, from engagement to marriage to now their fourth anniversary! Each year, they take special care in planning a session that not only has grace and style, but evokes all the memories and emotions for what that year held for their marriage.

This evening, as with any time we’ve photographed Chris and Sarah, was full of heart and very very special memories. Jeff and I are in LOVE with this Anniversary Session and this incredible couple!
