When Tony started being extra nice to Pamara, who was the newest addition to their grad program at Cornell, she thought that he was just being friendly to everyone. That he was trying to bridge the gap between all of the ages and welcome her in.
But when he started going out of his way to be kind to her, she started wondering…
Why would he walk her ALL the way up the big hill to her house – one that nobody ever made the effort to walk up?
Why did he vacuum his car and put in a new air freshener every time he picked her up?
Why was he being so caring towards her???
As Pamara now knows, it’s because Tony was drawn to her energy and just wanted to be around it. He was falling for her positive spirit, her smile, and her heart, and he would do anything to show her his heart, too.
We met Pamara and Tony when we photographed her sister’s wedding at the Boston Public Library last year (we love you Will & Angela!!), and were SO DEEPLY HONORED when they gave us a call to photograph their destination wedding in Maui this year!! The best compliment we can EVER receive is when a family chooses us again and again to document their legacy, so this was such a special wedding for us!
We began the trip with an engagement session at Ironwoods Beach in Kapalua at sunrise, because hello! We were in the most beautiful place on earth! And my friends – Maui is JAW-DROPPING at sunrise! I was thrilled when Tony & Pamara said an ecstatic “YES!” when I suggested it, and I lovelovelove how the images turned out!!
There’s so much more coming to the bloggy-blog in the next few days of Tony & Pamara’s destination wedding in Maui – especially since we worked with a fabulous team at The Ritz-Carlton Kapalua! Until then, enjoy this sweet little session to kick us off!
How amazing was our morning with Pamara and Tony in Maui?? If you’re not already head-over-heels in love these two, then just WAIT for their destination wedding at The Ritz-Carlton Kapalua! You’re going to melt into a pile of swoon-buttah!! Stay tuned – it’s hitting the bloggy-blog soooon!!
Hugs,
Erin
