Marlee’s answer is always the same when we ask her what she loves about Tyler. He makes her laugh. A lot.
Tyler is an upbeat and positive kind of guy, and his heart is as big as it gets. His humble nature keeps him real, while his joyful heart lights up Marlee’s eyes. She loves that he’ll dance like crazy and doesn’t care whose watching. She loves his family, and how soft and sensitive he is beneath his smile.
Marlee is wickedly smart (she’s earning a degree in Mathematics), and sweet as can be. And every time Tyler looks in her direction, that same light appears in his eyes. She’s loving, witty, and loyal, and you can tell that Tyler is humbled to call an amazing girl like her his soon-to-be partner in life.
They fit pretty stinkin’ perfectly together, which is remarkable seeing as how they’ve grown and changed and adapted to one another over five years of dating. These two lovely folks are getting married in New Mexico this summer, and they made their way out to San Diego to join us for an engagement session, and I have to note that this session was extra special because Tyler is the brother of one of our favorite former grooms (lots of love to Sean & Steph out in Texas!). There are certain families that will always be cherished at Casa de Youngren and the Davis clan is certainly one of them!
We mixed Tyler and Marlee’s session up a bit by shooting in downtown San Diego with a clean city feel, and then found ourselves a lovely garden to play in while the sun set in the sky. Can you say LOVE??
